My DH was a supervisor for a certain delivery service. Snow was always an obstacle. He used to say "it can start snowing midnight Christmas eve. Now that he has retired the snow doesn't bother him at all. I liked the snow when we lived in northern Indiana because the street departments were prepared to handle it. Since moving down state to a university town it can be a little hazardous getting out on the roads. Not only are they less capable of clearing the streets, there are all those students who have never driven on any kind of slick surface. Pretty scary!

Oh my that just gives me the shivers. We have had the wind but very little snow. Reminds me of last Christmas when we were just buried in snow. Neighbor had to scoop us out of our house and banks were 3/4 the way up the doors. Take care and stay warm.

It is snowing here like crazy. They say it will continue throughout the day so I am cozy and plan to stay that way. I will do some little projects today while watching movies and wrapping a few gifts. No sense in trying to buck Mother Nature if you don't have to. This is one time when being retired is a good thing.

I was brought up in New Jersey and have been in Florida a long time, but I do miss the change of the seasons and especially a good snowfall. Now the muddy stuff you can keep.

I can enjoy it because I don't have to be anywhere today! So I'll be watching movies and working on some more quilting projects :)
Gosh I just heard about the metrodome's(sp) roof caving in! Yikes! It was really something and caught on camera. Jan

Thanks for the pictures Minnesota is my home State I miss the snow days. I now live in Western Wyoming a small town 82 miles from Yellowstone National Park we're in what they call the Valley of the Warm Winds we get some snow just not a lot like in Jackson. I see the snow coming down in the mountains around us it just seems to go around us.
