Hate to be a party pooper but there's an EQ6 now. I haven't upgraded and I love my EQ5 so don't plan to. Here's a link to their website you will need all day to cruise it so be prepared.

There are a ton of things "to do" on the right side of this page.
If you are a quilter this is the program to have.
There is even an EQ digest with the yahoo groups. Very informative and the instructors that write the tutorial books and also technical people are moderators of this list. Super Super information
Enjoy

I suggest you start out by going to the block library and pick out some blocks that appeal to you. You'll be able to add colors using the Paint command (right hand side). Be sure to "save" the block to your scrapbook. (left hand column). Then, open up a "new quilt" and add the blocks. You'll have a ball once you get started. I have the EQ5 and don't plan to go to the EQ6. There is a ton of stuff on the EQ 5 that I've never gotten to and I'm pretty good at it...

I stated doing the lesson but I keep backtracking. But your right it is fun to work with and very easy. I can't believe how well some color combo look till you actualy see them as if they are a finished project.

It's a program that enables you to create a quilt or just a quilt block. Then you can import fabrics to "color" your quilt and you can actually see what your quilt will look like. Then you can print the block out it will give you rotary cutting directions, or print a paper piece template. Really neat. Anything a quilter needs to create.
They have a website. Go visit and see if you can't live without this program. It's been a great help to me.
