The first one is my favorite, I love the colors but both are beautiful. What pattern did you use.

Thank you everybody.

There is no commercial pattern.
I made it up using graph paper and pencils.
I don't know of an easy way to describe the placement of each piece to achieve the colourway, otherwise I'd offer a tutorial.
I just sandwiched the backing/batting/top, carefully marking where to turn for the zig-zags, stitched, trimmed and snipped, then turned the right way around, pressed and topstitched around the edge. It's not perfect, but they were gifts from the heart, not competition entries.
