Got my first set of blocks done this evening. Don't know the name of the pattern though. Was very tempted to make a few more and just keep these, but not enough of the aqua fabric to do 8 more blocks which would be how many I need for the size throw I want, so I put 'em in the baggie and zipped it quick, cuz I really liked 'em. LOL!
Let's see if I can get a picture on here...

The true colors are teal, lime green and purple.

Using ONLY batik fabric, I would cut out 12 pieces that are 12 1/2 inches square. And mail them to you correct?

Or do I need to make a pattern of something and make 12 of the same pattern but making sure that they are exactly 12 1/2" square?

Sure am looking for your reply back. Thanks.
The general instructions are on p. 1 of this thread. Please let me know if you want to join the swap.

Happy New Year Dagny: I have all my squares done, but I don't know where to send them. This is my first time participating in the batik swap--I enjoyed it immensely. Can't wait to see what I receive--that will be so much fun to see where they come from, and what colors I get!
