I met my husband of 42 years when we both were in the 7th grade. My daughter met her husband in kindergarten,. He moved away in 1st grade and she lost contact with him until her Jr. year in college when they met up again.

""" She didn't see him, but heard a little voice from back in the store yelling, "I FOUND THE MAN FOR YOU, MOM!" One of life's more embarrassing moments.""""

That is just too cute. Must have been love at first sight, at least for the little one! I'm sure that story gets told more than once at family gatherings???

Met my DH in teen beer bar in S.E. WI. Was a great place to socialize and dance, for those that were too young to go regular bars. That was before the 21 drinking age took effect. Been married 42 years and still going strong.

My girlfriend and I had been learning Country/Western dancing and we went to a large dance at the fairgrounds--that is where I met my husband of 23 years.
