Here in western New York State we are having a little snow, maybe four inches since last night. Feel sorry for my relatives in CT. It looks like they are really getting hit.

I have been thinking spring for a month now but it doesnt seem to be helping. We are overcast, wind howling, snow for the next 5 days predicted. We were -21 below last nite and only +4 today. That doesnt take into account the wind chill. I for one am tired of shoveling the white stuff. We have about 8 inches of old stuff and got 3 inches of new yesterday so it is drifting today. Stay warm and safe out there.

Hi, hope you guys are OK. Continually look at the snow forecasts for the USA and think what great quilting weather.
I live in Adelaide South Australia and in the north of our country (Queensland) at the moment we are experiencing severe flooding with thousands of homes inundated with water. There are whole families missing as whole houses were swept away by the force of the water surge and we all hope and pray they are found alive and well, however the reality is that some will not be. The Brisbane River flooded a lot of the CBD early this morning and the news reports say that up to 11,000 houses have been affected by the floods. Our great Aussie spirit is well and truly coming to the fore, with volunteers helping wherever they are needed and acts of kindness abounding.

65 here in Mesa, Arizona.
That's why we moved here, no snow or ice. It did get down to 27 over New Years weekend. It does get hot in the summer but you stay in air conditioning, go from house to car to stores.
