Quilt shops on my 40th - WHAT to do??
#32
If you google Quilting Lancaster there is a connection that rates all the quilt shops in the area. My husband and I make a pilgramage there every summer from Ontario just to buy material.

You'll love it in Lancaster. Actually, Intercourse is where you should start - yeah I know - great name. There's the Old Country store - great fabrics downstairs and museum and shop upstairs. Just a bit east (just past the Kitchen Kettle Village - also a fun trip) is Zooks. Another wonderful selection. Drive a bit west from Intercourse, and you'll find some smaller shops (don't remember the names) and as you head into Bird-in-Hand, you'll get to the Quilt Shack. Google fabric stores in the area - there are a ton! have fun!

What a kind and thoughtful husband. Just enjoy the whole day with him, breakfast lunch and dinner....it is his generous gift to you so by all means include some fabric with his blessings. That will be a rememberance of the day and his love.
