I have a Windtunnel and cannot wait for it to break so I can replace it. I hate it. It's durable BUT the suction power is not all that great, it's heavy and hard to manuever, and the bag changes are difficult. The replacement bags are also very expensive.

I have a Hoover wind tunnel which does a really good job on suction and pickup. However I hate not having a bag. It is the biggest mess to empty the container. Just changed the filters and boy does it work well now just like new. I am thinking about getting one with a bag. I would use it more if it wasn't such a pain to empty.

I highly recomend an IROBOT vacuum cleaner. They are small round automated cleaners that only need you to press a button and away they go, under and around your furniture. You don't need to be in the room with them. They run on a rechargable battery and go home to their docking station to recharge when the room is done.
the best ever for people with bad backs that have trouble with conventional cleaners.
We have 2,one upstairs and one down stairs.

I love my Rainbow vaccum. Absolutely the best gift I ever gave myself to make housecleaning a breeze. Quite pricey, but worth every penny. Even my Air Conditioner service rep wanted to know what I was doing different when he came to change our filters (the kind you change only once a year that are in the attic) and he said they did not need changing as they were not dirty. This to me was true testimony that the Rainbow vaccum really gets the dirt and dust out of my house. Would never buy another brand after having this one.

Across the years, I've had, Kirby, Rainbow, etc, etc......I would never part with my Dyson, it was worth every penny..... I have a shedding dog, cat and messy large bird.... I use it daily, never a problem.

I have a rainbow, would not give it up for anything. It is a amazing machine!!! You know it's good when the sun is shining thru the windows and there are no particles of dust flying thru the light.....

Love my Oreck. I have wood floors, area rug and a cow hide and it does great on all. It is a light vacuum.
