I thought those blocks looked familiar. I am also doing that block of the month. I'm not a huge fan of the piecing instructions, oh well. I am almost done with the blocks, next month I get the border fabric and stuff. The backing fabric we got was awesome. Using the wider back batik, I only needed 3 1/4 yards instead of like 8 or 9 yards.

Good luck, your first blocks look way better than mine, so your finished quilt will be totally beautiful.

Beautiful start.....My son is getting married in September and I have a quilt started, but I really like this one. Is there a pattern for it?? Keep up the good work!!!!
