When ordering anything, I track it from the time it leaves the
sender until it reaches me.

Me too - sometimes I find that the package is delivered before the information is available via USPS.

YES ! always! I like it on the internet, but it is just fine when the delivery man calls me to tell me when to expect him. JP

I always use the tracking if it's available. I usally have international shipping orders, so I'd like to know, where my shipping is and when it will be delivered. The delivery service here in Europe always needs a signature for the shipping, so when I have a tracking, I can make sure, I'm home when they come.

I use it, and check it every couple of days to see when it's coming.

Yes, so I know approximately what day it will arrive and can be watching for it.

I think sellers usually use tracking mostly to prove something's been delivered. It definitely can clear up confusion. I used to sell books online... countless times people emailed saying their book never arrived, and then saw that the tracking proved it was there... and then found it amongst mail sitting around. Or "found" it as the case may be...

Most of the time the USPS never enters the tracking info until after it is delivered.
