Don't worry you can do it ! All three of our children were married in 19 months and they all got a quilt from Mom... And one of my daughters is a quilter so of course her's was more complicated but I managed to help plan and do all the mommie stuff and make the quilts. Just keep going and keep focused. You have a great start when is the first wedding ? It is a fun filled time; enjoy !

This is going to be a knockout. A wedding quilt is just like any other--you'll make mistakes and it won't be perfect. So what? The important thing is that you care enough to take your time to make a one-of-a-kind gift, and they will always treasure it because it came from you. So relax and have fun with it!

Well, I sat down and did the first block and had so much fun with it that I decided to do another one today! I am trying to move slowly with it (first time sewing batiks and it is the "Wedding Quilt"), but I think it is turning out pretty good so far! Wish me luck!!!
We did change all of the fabrics as well.....will try to keep this updated!
Lovely!!! What size are those blocks? They stand out so well..

Thanks so much! Is that red look pink cause I think that would be awesome because my future DIL loves pink, but the whole quilt is not girly! Thanks again!

You are off to a fantastic start and I bet you will need to make a second one. Love the pattern.

I have not seen the original fabrics for it. I have substituted all of the 12 fabrics for different ones.
