Beautiful quilt! I see quilting in those triangles.....try quilting a triangle, 1/4" from the outer edge of each triangle.... That always looks nice.

Beautiful quilt. I liked it before you pointed out the mistake, decided I liked the mistake, and like it after you fixed the mistake.

Very impressive quilt. I am a beginner too and would be delighted if I had made this quilt!

This is to be my first ever hand quilted try. I've only SITD before on the machine. I would really like to try something other than that but cannot figure out what pattern to try with the triangles.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks!

(sorry for the pic, didn't have hubby home to hold it up for me)

Hi you have have done a beautiful piecing job. I would use 1/4" masking tape and quilt inside the seam lines rather than in the ditch on the blocks. For the binding I would use a meandering vien or feather pattern this will have the effect of softening all the angels you have in the blocks. If you wanted to be really brave you could always use a feather design over the blocks with varigated thread to make your hand quilting pop and add another demension to your quilt. What ever you choose I know it will be gorgeous!
