I once made a dress. for my older DD. that she was to wear in my friend's wedding. No one noticed, until the pictures came back, that I had sewed a sleeve on wrong side out. Every time I go to her home, I see that picture. My worst 'boo boo' is immortalized on her living room wall! I just smile and ignore it, but at first I was mortified! My friend said that no one else could have made her wedding so beautiful. (At least the mistake wasn't on her dress, which I also made.)

But it has compensations, I almost never make a mistake making a symmetrical design....go figure!

I just hate it when that happens! And it has happened more than once! A goodnight's sleep will cure that problem, or more coffee! LOL! Patty

What about when you are quilting in the middle of the quilt and one of your triangles is inside out????

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one who does things like that! Sometimes I wonder if I'm losing it...

I hope you don't mind that I'm laughing my head off at this. I was crocheting a new pattern for a baby afghan a few yrs. ago & I had to restart that darn thing four times. My husb. kept sayng "JUST LET IT GO". I said I just can't let it defeat me. I'm the same with quilt patterns now. I just have to be smarter than that. Yeah right. Ya think ??? LOL
