I have the pattern and here are the fabric requirements:

2 1/2 wide strips: 22 strips for crib size; 39 strips for lap size;
100 strips for full size.

Binding: 1/2yd for crib size; 2/3yd for lap size; 3/4 yd for full size.

Backing: 1 3/4 for crib size; 3 1/3 for lap size; 5 1/3 for full size.

Hope that helps.

I hear you. I do email and ask what I need so they can email me back and I can do the transaction of buying the pattern and fabric all in one place and with one shipment.

There are some that provide the yardage requirements w patterns. They're the smart ones - they realize you can get fabric and pattern at once. Have you tried doing a google search to find the pattern at another source that might list the yardage? I've done that b4.

I'm looking at the pattern Strip Search - anyone out there have it handy? Thanks!
I googled it - here it is. (Hope it comes through).

Does anyone have difficulty estimating the amount of fabric needed for a full size quilt when you only have a block pattern giving the size strips to cut for 1 block? Is there a good solution for this problem?
