I agree with Murphy. If I had a fridge or microwave I'd never leave the room. Water and small snacks only.

Most important additional item is the TV with cable and a DVR. Can watch all the programs I want to watch and all the movies on DVD that my husband may not want to see.

I have been toying with the idea of putting a mini fridge in my sewing room. Not sure if I want to take up fabric space for it though.
Most definitely. I have both. It keeps me from walking back and forth to the house. Really nice and convenient.

No...only one reason. Doc wants me to get some excercise. Therefore I walk downstairs several times a day which I count as excercise even if he doesn't. I do have my coffeepot up here. If I had a microwave and fridge I could lease the bottom part of the house out couldn't I.

My husband teases me about having a microwave and a small fridge in my woman cave as he calls it. Then he would never see me till spring and then I'm out in my garden. Elaine

My DH has a microwave in his wood shop, and soon a frig. At least, he's not tracking sawdust in every time he heats up his coffee. More time for me to quilt, instead up vacuuming.
