I don't have either in my sewing room but I need an excuse to get up and move and get the blood circulating from quilting so long. It is good exercise and a person has to get moving.

I have neither in my sewing room and I took out the tv. I like the peace and quiet without it in there. I can play my classical music on my laptop when I wish to listen to it. i often listen to Andre Bocelli because he sings in Italian and I don't understand it. I can enjoy the sound of his voice and the music better that way. If I want a drink or a snack, I like to get out of the sewing room to get it and to visit with my husband for a while before returning to quilting.

There is a 16' wet bar between the family room and my sewing area. There is a dorm refrig there, but I keep forgetting it's there since I usually bring my drink down with me. (BTW..that bar still has bottles we brought over in 1976! Very well aged stock.
(Obviously we don't use the bar! HA!)

Way to go, then you will never have to leave it. All you will need is a bed to fall into when too tired to quilt and a bath room for necessary breaks. lol. Put a lock on the door and pretend no one is home when they come looking for you. :)

Neither, my kitchen is right at the end of the hallway so I get up and walk to get a snack, drink etc. and have it there.

No, but my sewing room is on the main level of my ranch style house and it's not that far to the kitchen. Now if I ever moved my sewing room to my finished basement... :-)
