My husband and I've been going every year since 2002! Only missed one show due to snow. We always go on a Friday and take loads of pictures of the beautiful quilts. So glad they moved it to Hampton Roads with more room to move around and explore all the goodies the vendors bring to sell to us!!!

I will be there!!! I don't know what day yet...sadly the two girlfriends who were coming--from NYC ( just found her job may be a lay off) and NC (her fiance is having surgery that Thursday, have canceled on me, so I will be going solo from Richmond...But my husband has off that weekend so we may end up staying over at the beach...

Still trying to figure out which day/days I will be there. My dauhter has a basketball tournament in Va Beach on Saturday. I am hoping to make it to the show Friday and possibly go back Sunday afternoon. If my DD tournament finishes early enough I may make it back Saturday instead of Sunday. Hate it when it is soo up in the air!

Rose, I think Saturday is Definitely gonna be the day...my husband is working graveyard and gets home at 8 Friday morning, so if he is my chauffeur, Friday won't work...Saturday is crowded, but I guess we have the best chance of getting more of us there...
Whoever gets there first, grab a piece of paper and make a sign!! Quilters Board MEETUP and prop it up on the table!!!! Say, 11:30?? Does that work for anyone?
