I have a garden but may not plant as much as I did last year.
Still have a lot in the freezer.

We have had a veggie garden for many years. When I complained about how hard it was to get down to the dirt, my husband built me raised beds. Wide stacked cedar planks that I can sit on if necessary. Much easier to plant and weed now. We live in a temperate zone, so we eat from the garden for most of the year. We have kale and Brussels sprouts now, but they are nearly over. Soon I will plant lettuce, spinach, radishes, and peas that like cool spring weather. Love my garden and my quilting.

I have a veggie garden, flower garden and strawberry patch.
I've already started a lot of my plants. Our weather here feels like spring, but I know we may still have some bad weather.

Perennial garden, iris and daylilies. blueberries, blackberries, grapes (wine). This year I am planting all heirloom, open-pollinated, organic seed....Beans, kale, spinach, chard, tomatoes, onions, parsnips, turnips, radishes, parsnips. I love the feel of warm dirt... Making my own compost from grass, leaves and my chicken compost... My chickens LOVE my blueberries and get all within jumping distance... I actually hate that it is too hot in the summer to cover myself with a quilt in progress to hand quilt.

I think I am suppose to head up a new ministry in the church this year -- it is going to be a lot of fun. Several ladies want to learn to can and freeze fruits and veggies - I've done it for years so I offered to teach. In order to save money several in the church think we ought to do a garden. It is going to be fun. Anyone with great recipes for canning that they would be willing to share please PM me so I can get a recipe file started.
One member of the church has offered us half an acre to use so we should have lots of veggies
