I remember back in the 90's our Wisconsin Joanns were selling summer toys for sandboxes and swimming pools, Christmas wreaths and lights, and also a few fabrics!

Great to have 50% coupons but everything, including magazines are already discounted so the last 3 times I went in, I couldn't use the coupon. I was told that if I didn't use them, I would lose them. OH WELL. If I can't use them, what is the loss?

If only I had a nickel for every coupon I cut out/printed out and didn't use!
Stock up on candy bars, LOL. They drive me nuts when everything they have there is on sale, so I get things for my secret pal like Schmetts needles, post-it note pads, candy and the envelopes to mail them in. We are smarter than they are :) :) :)
Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are a smart shopper, get tired of people compaining that they can't use the coupons. I can always find something and if not I get the bar code over my address scanned so I keep getting them. Always want to know the sales, especially tread and notions.

I am surprised to learn that JoAnn's has been sold. If the new owner's are going to have a high-end operation, just watch the prices skyrocket. They are high enough now.

Awhile back, you could use your coupons on the quilting magazines, now they are always 10% off and you cannot use the coupon. This really annoys me. I will not buy them!

That happened to me, too, but the 3rd one worked!! BTW, if you won't take your coupon flyer in and have it scanned 2 months in a row, they stop sending them. I am in that doldrums right now!! :-P
ahhh maybe thats why all of a sudden I have stopped recieving them.

I get both email and snail mail coupons! My store also has the next sales brochure at te entrance, so I always pick it up and keep in the car. Generally there are coupons in those as well.
How do you get email coupons? I'm signed up to receive emails from JoAnn's and usually get two or three a week - but no coupons. :-(

You can get them online.
Also according to the following link the JoANn shareholders will vote on the buyout on March 18.

One of our Joann Fabric in Huber Heights, Ohio went out of business, but the one west and south have loads of things and are getting a lot of craft things in too. I don't think these 2 are going out
