I want a white one or a pale green, but there is no way, they go for huge prices, so I have to bee happy with my Toni.

Your machine is beautiful. Does it zig-zag? I have an old Kenmore that is suppose to but doesn't. Mostly I don't need it but sometimes I do. I have to do that at my therapy class where we make quilts for foster care kids. Some of the machines there do zig and zag both. Ha! Ha!

I have been looking for an tan fw! So u got it on craigslist? Wow, a lucky find and you're gonna love it! Mind if we ask what was the price?
Yep...Craigslist...and 5 days after it was posted. I guess people in my area aren't too interested in them. The guy I got it from repairs and collects certain types of sewing machines, but seems to think featherweights are overrated and overpriced. I think the only reason he even bothered picking up this one was because he'd never seen a tan one before. I paid $225, no case and no attachments. Maybe I'll check out our thrift and antique shops and see if I can turn up something else.

What the shine is covering up are some scratches and some touch up paint that somebody used that doesn't quite match the original tan. But it seems to sew well and that's the important part!
