Welcome from Central Alabama. I love the area where you have moved, but not familiar with their LQS. My DH and I come to the Grand Hotel on occassion and love the area. Wish we were closer. I had a buddy shopper when I first started quilting and it was great! Welcome to the sunny south.

There is a huge fabric store in Pensacola--A & E Fabric Variety & Carft Store, Warrington Rd.,Pensacola FL. We winter in Gulf Shores and there have been 2 stores that closed in the past 2 years there.

Thank you all so much for the welcome messages. I have heard of A & E over in Pensacola, just haven't gotten over there yet. Gotta find something for the hubby to do over there while I visit the shop, he doesn't want me to travel that far by myself, wouldn't be a problem if we knew the area better or if I had someone to go with. He is so protective & smothering sometimes........lol, I guess it's nice to know he cares that much. I have also heard of another place called Martelli's over there. Still searching for a close buddy close by.

Psychonurse,

Where is Arley, I've never heard of it. My guess is it's an itty bitty burg?
