THanks for nice comments. I truly am thinking of putting some in a quilt, just haven't decided how. The lack of rain is getting really serious. All of the counties in the area are on a outdoor fire ban and alert because of worries about fires getting out of control. I live in The Woodlands, just north of Houston, but grew up in Tyler. The wildflowers in general haven't been as profuse or lasted as long as usual, but maybe that makes me enjoy the ones I do see more.
