tell your husband that i'm 56but i'm not old.love to make quilts because it's fun, helps me relax too.
when i was 10 my mom had her first cancer operation& as i got older i started to do moreto help with my 5 brothers & 1 sister. loved to, sew ,so i watched quilt shows on tv& started by sewing squares togeather & tying them.
now i can make some interesting quilts& my quilting isn't to bad either. never took a class just read , watched & did! still love to sew even if mom isn't here to do it with

My birthday was April 10th, so I just hit another mile stone. I'm 70 and very proud of it. I had Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2009 and "life is good". I just love the Quilting Board I read it every day. Senior quilters are young at heart, and I'm glad that I'm one of them.

Guess I'm one of those "little ole ladies from Pasadena" (grew up there) ... started quilting at 68, now 72 .... when it comes to capability, I'm still a youngster
