Just saw a great quote by Satchel Paige..."How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?"

Made first quiltl at 69 1/2. Got book at library and started in. Go to Quilters Corner in Midwest City, Okla for supplies and advice. Loving it at age now 70.

Husbands - they just don't always understand! But we do! I'm 58 and started quilting about 11-12 years ago. My time with "old" quilters has been the most enjoyable times spent with other people! We tend to be a great bunch of home-spun, patriotic, virtuous, spiritual and common sense thinkers wanting peace in our souls! Most of us lead hectic lives with families and work, so quilting is where we can go to release the stress. I use the time to pray for the person I'm making the quilt for.
