I love to garden, especially in the spring. Then when it's harvest time, I don't love it as much. I enjoy being outside, but not the canning and freezing. I give alot of my produce to neighbors and friends. I also like flowers, but nothing is better than fresh tomatoes! Linda

I just put our veggie garden in this week. Radishes, tomatoes, peppers , zucchini, acorn squash, green beans. I just love being able to go out and PICK dinner. I never plant cucumbers though. My Dad just can't figure out how to grow just a few so there are always an overabundance. I just let him know when I'm running low and poof they magically show up on my doorstep.LOL

So far peas, carrots, onions and lettuce are in. tomatoes, cukes and beans will be put in later. Get sweet corn from a neighbor also squash, zucchini --those always seem to produce more than the grower can eat or can.

My husband likes to garden. Every year it gets bigger. We have been eating asparagus for about 3 weeks, and spinach. We always have tomatoes, zucchini, potatoes, onions, eggplant, corn, hot and regular peppers, several colors, broccoli, strawberries, raspberries, cantaloupe, adn several others. We usually freeze and can all of it.We just finished off most of the stuff from last year.

We will have a garden...if it ever dries out enough to plant it! We do not do a large garden. I like to have enough green beans to can. We also have tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers and zucchini. I always freeze sweet corn but we get it from my brother (a farmer) who always plants an acre, or so, into sweet corn. I do not do salsa or can tomatoes because we live where Red Gold has its headquarters and can buy tomato product at the outlet store (1 1/2 mile from my house) at such a good price that I really cannot afford to do tomatoes myself.

I have a small garden: green beans, greans, onion, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, peppers, corn. I;m always so impatient for everything to start growing. Does anyone have a recipe for dill pickles
:-)
