We have the old hot water radiators. We turned the furnace down. 84 here today. Our house is 126 years old. Used to be the general store. Also, held the dynamite for the coal mines. A very sturdy basement.

Oh goodness!!!! Don't freeze. I live in upper Wi and I know it's still cold here. It froze last night. Pretty nice out today but it was windy which didn't help much. I hope you can get someone out there quick.

I'm sending you warm wishes from Oceanside CA where it was 87 degrees and low humidity. Not normal for us. I was wishing for an air conditioner, don't typically need them, I'm just 7 blocks from the ocean. I'm from West Texas and lived a few years in Minnesota so don't beat me up.

I hope they can get your furnance going. Praying it's not so cold there that your water pipes freeze. Let us know how it works out for you.

What works really well for me is I wrap myself in an electric blanket if I'm not moving around too much. (quilting, TV, etc.) Except right now we have our air conditioner on (Florida) Sending warm thoughts your way.
