I always wear a small scissors on a lanyard around my neck for snipping threads. I've not had a problem with it.

If I could figure out how to do it, I'd wear a seam ripper as well!
How about making a little pouch to attach to your lanyard. One slot for the scissors. Another slot for your seam ripper. And anything else?

I saw the retractable type once. The lady wore it as a brooch. I've seen the retractable things in the dollar store, with pens attached. So maybe you could convert one?

I've worn little (4.5") scissors just tied on to a piece of ribbon, around my neck. Low-tech but practical!

I think they call them zingers. That's what I use. Real cheap at the office supply store.

NO! Have had open heart surgery and scar is still tender in areas. But my DH bought me a antique looking round thread cutter that I wear when I am hand sewing.

I can't wear anything around my neck. The weight of something around my neck starts to hurt before too long.

Yes I wear a small pair of scissors on a lanyard around my neck. Going to make me a pocket that I saw recently around the instructors neck at a class recently. She had all her tools handy in this pocket. Cute cute cute! Post a picture when I get it made.

I like the lil scissor or snipet things but won't spring for what they cost. At our LQS they are like $20-$25....too much for me.
