I love CHatelaiines (sp), And I have a bag of those pointless scissors that I use as little gifts. I will have a box of them there at the retreat. You can put them on a nice string/lace, or on a lanyard. I am also bringing about 100, yes at least that many, of the ones the casinos hand out for free. Love the little spring to it. I always have a pair on my neck. That way as I move around my class or retreat, all I have to do is reach for it. I also have bought some that are 5-12 dollars and they are sharp but can poke you. Trust me, I know this. LOL. So don't buy any if you are coming, I have pointless ones to share. Good post Kwhite. HUGS♥♥♥♥

I used to but don't no more. I had just removed mine from my neck when traveling and we were hit by a tractor trailor and our vehicle was rolled. I can't only imagine where that scissor would have been should it still been around my neck. Broke me of using it.

Not around my neck... I think I would get hurt! I have found that I just keep several scissors by each work station...the iron, my cutting table, the sewing machine and the quilting machine. They are right there when I need them!

I have a little round thing that clips on the front of my blouse. The scissors are held on with a clip and when you need to use them, pull them out and they retract on a cord. Have no idea what they are called but they can be found at office supply shops and at quilt shows. Hope this helps.

No I can't wear anything around my neck, not necklaces or turtlenecks. For some reason they give me a headache. I must be tensing my neck muscles or something.
