Check your presser foot tension. I couldn't get my Kenmore to sew straight either. Then when I looked at the tension lever, it had been moved to 0. Putting it on 2 solved the problem. Hope that works for you.

Same here! The 1/4 feet doesn't help me either! However, I do have astigmatism in my eyes! Can's see straight, sew straight, or cut with rotary cutter straight! What a problem! So now I cut most of my stuff with the Accuquilt Go! cutter when I can!

I like this....definitely artistic, creative, expressive, have to make things our own, etc. Heck I never could color between the lines...why would I want to follow them now...never mind sew a straight line.

Personally...sometimes I'm right on and other days: forget it!
At least I can sew, so many haven't a clue how to sew.

I have the same problem but I blame it on my sewing machine.

not to worry! I'm right there with you! I even purchased gadets that are suppose to help keep a person in a straight line....YIKES! I guess we just need to practice more!

I recently read that the FW's and older models did not have the "fancy stitches" - even a zig zag added to a machine allowed for just a slight "not straight stitch. Made sense to me. Another reason to want one of those Featherweights.

37 years huh,not giving me much hope, guess I'll just keep at it with the occasionally wonky lines.
