Love to fly! Get in the air & it is like sitting in your living room, to me, and relaxing & read a mag. Love it!

You are in control of your fear... if you choose to be afraid you will be. If you choose to see this as a new adventure and a door to new and fun activites, well, than thats what it will be :) Book your trip, and say a prayer of strength and courage and enjoy!! You only live once!!

And... when its our time, its our time, be it plane, train or bus or car. I cant wait to meet our Maker and join family members in Heaven. I am ready whenever He is. :) (would rather later than sooner, but, since I cant choose, I choose not to worry about it).

Just my two cents. :)

I fly a lot. Longest flight was 15 hours from Atlanta to Seoul. Most flights are like riding on a bus. I do not mind the flying, but I do not enjoy the pat downs and body scans, nor do I like other travelers who seem to think it is all about them! If you are traveling, please be courteous and remember there are other people around you! Heck, I don't even mind crying babies! But someone who gets on the plane with 5 carry-ons should be punished! (Not to mention the gate agents who let them board at all!)

We went to Florida 6 years ago and loved the flight, although I agree other people's kids were a pain in the *ss. The worst part was the jetlag on the way back across the Atlantic, I couldn't move for about 2 days - it really caught me out. But I would love to think I will fly again. My biggest ambition is to get to one of the biggest quilt shows over there in USA. One day!!!

I had a fear of flying. You could have never gotten me to even agree to go on a trip if a plane was involved, but my sister that lives across the country needed a sitter for a week and my mom was going, who also has a fear of flying, heights, and confined spaces. I thought it would be good for us to get over our fear together. It really wasn't bad at all. I actually enjoyed it. We both would do it again without even thinking about it.

I don't like to fly either, but have been in an airplane about three times, but I think that is the end of it.

I've flown several times in the past but won't fly today because of the security measures. If you are identified for "extra measures", and your only choices are naked pictures of yourself for others to view or being molested with the enhanced patdown, I'll either drive or stay home.
