When I was a child we had a banty hen and some ducks. The duck laid some eggs which the banty sat on. When they hatched it was so cute to see ducklins fallow a chicken. Well one night it got really cold and all the babies died. My mom felt so bad. We were city slickers trying to be farmers.

We had banty chickens when I was a kid. I love having chickens around. Apparently it's illegal to have a rooster within city limits now.
