A quick-list of Butterfly animal symbolism:

Resurrection
Transition
Celebration
Lightness
Time
Soul

Interestingly, in many cultures the butterfly is associated with the soul – further linking our animal symbolism of faith with the butterfly.

With this in mind consider Chrysalis when the caterpillar is wrapped for transition into a butterfly.

Since you live so far away, it doesn't matter if you use ours. Our group is called "PHD". It started out as "Personally Handcrafted Designs" but shortly after we adopted that name, some one came up with something that better fit our group. "Piled Higher and Deeper"! We all laughingly figure that better discribes our sewing rooms so we decided to keep that one but those that are more serious still called it by the first one, but we actually all just call ourselves "PHDers".
