I just discovered books by Sandra Dallas. Most have a quilter as a character. The stories are fabulous.

James Patterson-London Bridges...funny I've already read it once. Seems I do that a lot, but I love to read and once I've started a book I'll finished it.

2030 : The Real Story of What Happens to America, by Albert Brooks (eeek -- it could happen!)

Making Rounds with Oscar: The Extraordinary Gift of an Ordinary Cat, by David Dosa (true story about the cat at the nursing home that could predict death)

I recently finished The Unbroken and it was amazing too and a true story.
Also, the Cystail Castle is very good.
