I have 3 and need more! All three are loaded - with quilt throws primarily. Furniture stores have them sometimes or will order for you. Also, towel racks will work, and they are available in bed & bath stores.

I have one that I bought at a craft fair about 15 years ago - it has three rungs and I can hang six quilts if I fold them right.

Oh, that is absolutely beautiful. Lucky you to have such a friend.

Last weekend, hubby and I went garage sale - ing and I found one for a dollar..just a plain one for the foot of the bed.

I use my great-grandmother's quilting frame. I don't have room to set up the frame, but use the ends to drape quilts over.

My husband made me one. It's a ladder about 7 1/2 ft tall., made of 1" x 4"pine and the dowels are about 12"apart. I can get about 7 quilts on it . It leans against the wall and keeps it out of hands way. Maybe a good ides for someone in QUILTLAND
