VERY CUTE and captures the "doxie" personality. For future I would try to make the ears less egg shaped, although my dogs ears do stand out on occasion :) (LH Choc dappled mini)

So this is what I made today.
I appliqued and made a quilted tote bag.
Before you ask NO PATTERN, just went pencil and paper all the way to machine, making it up as I went.
I am bad at selecting fabrics I was going for country. Not sure what you'd call this.
I do think its cute, but is it gift worthy? I don't really know the lady, we are friendly, but not friends.
Not fishing for compliments. If it needs improvements, colors fabrics, Doesnt' look like a Dachie... Etc. I might have this as a rough draft and make another.
So yes? No? don't quit your day job?
Adorable! If I were into Doxies I would love it!

jealous...mine was a LH black and red. When I'm ready to get another one, that's what I'm looking for. I also saw one called a Brindle? they look really cute too. Looks like their hair isn't short but isn't as long as the LH. I miss my baby so much. She was 15 and lost her 4 months ago tomorrow.
