We purchased a Bosch about a year ago to replace a Whirlpool Quiet Partner III which had begun making so much noise that we couldn't carry on a conversation in the kitchen while it was running. We've been very happy with the Bosch - it's really quiet and does a great job of cleaning the dishes. (We also traded our old washer and dryer for Bosch a couple of years ago and have not been sorry about that decision either.)

We have a Bosch. A bit pricey, but well worth it. It's quiet and efficient, and no pre-rinsing of dishes before placing in the dishwasher. My main requirement was quiet, and it sure meets that specification.

I really like my Whirlpool appliances. Can't say anything bad about them; they have served us well.

What ever you do, don't buy an Electrolux. It was really quiet, but after only working for about 9 months, two big boxes of parts from the company, and 7 months of not working at all, it never could be fixed! Had a kitchenaid before the dreaded electrolux and have a kitchenaid after...

I went and looked today - Discovered a few things.
Bosch does not have a heat dry - so how long does it take to dry them? The inside looked really roomy.

Kitchenaid- adjustable shelves - same price as a Bosch metal bar in bottom that turns around.

One brand even had where you could put detergent in and it self monitored how much detergent was needed.

I still have a few stores left to go.

Thanks for all the input. I learned so much - but can anyone tell me what a tankless waterheater is?

I love my Kenmore. Does a good job. Never rinse anything and always gets everything clean.
