Be sure to post the results you get from the company. After the posts the other day about fabric being sprayed with insecticide, already full of sizing, and now bugs in the packaging....it makes paying over $11 for fabric hard to swallow but with fabric coming from other countries...we have to keep all of that in mind.

A long time ago when my mom was living in Columbus Ohio, she had trouble with grocery store paper bags and bugs. She would empty the bags and then spray them with bug killer. She used the bags for garbage. Never had any more trouble after she sprayed each time.

Even if you received a satisfactory response from this vendor you should make a hard copy of all of these Quilting Board messages and mail them to the vendor. You are not alone with your concerns!

I would tell them, but be nice about it. They didn't do it on purpose. Remember, this is probably a small company, so don't expect anything in return. Most LQS are barely making it.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I will start checking things a little more carefully from now on.

Definitly, HEAT!!!!! Only thing that kills bed bugs. Gads!!!!!!!! That is why I don't like to go in the thrift stores. You just don't know and once you got them, takes a lot of money to get rid of them. You should see me in a motel room when we travel. Have the old flash lite ready and go over with a fine tooth comb. No suit case goes in room either. Carry in by hand what we need for the nite. Sad, but like some of you have said, we are in a epidemic of bed bug infestation. I've read how hard it is to eradicate them and the thousands it cost to eradicate them. Not worth it to not be to careful. N.Y. is bad. Even the high end stores have had to close and eradicate. (Some of them. Like Victoria's)

I would let the people know, if it happened with the envelope, in shipping, it's something I would want to know if I was the seller. Reputation would get ruined
