I wish I was going with you! I love it there but my husband doesn't so.....now that he is retired and there are no more service meetings we don't go anymore. Enjoy yourself! Quilting will not be on your mind!!!!

I have been on the quilt tour - it was great and will do it again if I return to Vegas. There was a very nice lady who picked each one of us up at our hotels, took us to 4 stores, bought us lunch and returned us to our hotels - I think it cost $80.00. One of the stores has since closed and it was my favorite.

I was in Vegas three years ago and did the Quilt Tours Shop Hop! I was the only hopper and it was Sunday, so all of the shops weren't open . . . . but I had a GREAT time! We're going back in September 2012 and I plan to take either Friday or Saturday and do the full day hop! The lady that does the quilt tours was wonderful and all of the shops were very friendly. At least I came home with some wonderful fabric and a fun filled memory (rather than losing all of my money at the casino). Have fun and check out the quilt tour!

Put all of your supplies (rotary cutters, scissors, pins, etc) in CHECKED luggage. Put your sewing machine in carryon luggage and tell the security people you have a sewing machine in there. Sew all day. I travel with hubby and do that. Have never had a problem!
