How inspiring. Your hard work in that beautiful quilt, the love for your son, and the whole story! Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us. Give your son a big thank you for his service from all of us when you see him.

So glad your son made it home safely. Beautiful quilt. It is wonderful that your talent was recognized in the paper.

What treasures to behold! A wonderful newspaper article to treasure forever, a beautiful quilt to treasure forever, and a much loved son to treasure forever. How lucky are you and your family, and how rightly proud you must be.

Thank God your son is home safely. Please thank him and his family for their sacrifices and service. I don't think we can do enough for our military families.

Good for you, Don. You sound like a great guy. Glad your son is home and will be near enough to visit. You have given him a true gift of love (as well as the quilt). God Bless all of you.
