That is where I am! LOL I just started last month and have a beautiful queen size quilt top finished and have some of the quilting marked but not sure what else I want on it and a bit afraid to start it. I dont want to mess it up. It is hugh and I have a lot of money invested in it so far and I just want it to look nice. I have never hand quilted either and dont think if I lived to be 100 I would be able to finish it if I did it by hand.

17 years. And realy this is before I started to quilt. My oldest son would only wear Wrangle jeans. I cut 3 inch sqares out of his jeans I still have not finished them. He passed away at 21 and it is just a hard project to work with

I am so glad to know that I am not the only one! I have 2 UFO tops my grandmothers made about 45 years ago. I have 1 I started hand embroidering blocks for in 1969.

Back to about 1998 I think - had it about 3/4 finished, rolled on the frame & then moved several times. Seems I just never had a place to put the frame up again....till recently & now I only have about 18" x width to finish. I've attached a current pic - this is the 'pillow' portion across the top...so NEARLY FINISHED. (famous last words)

BUT....now I'm trying to work on some Christmas photo quilts, so once again it has kinda taken the back burner. POOR THING is beginning to feel like an orphan I think. :(

Just not enough time, or enough hands - oh well, I've ALWAYS got something to work on!!! :(

Do you consider un-quilted tops to be UFO's? In that case I would have about 35. If not, then, I don't have any. My space is limited, the storage boxes are full of tops, and I like to finish what I start. Old habit acquired from my mother!

I don't know exactly when I've started projects, but after reading these answers, I feel so much better. Maybe even, NORMAL.
