Yes, I'm older then dirt. I remember when the bookmobile came around, leg make-up was used instead of nylon stockings, stockings with seams up the back,first TV with magnifying glass, mens garters to hold dress socks up, flowers (called crepes) hung on doors when there was a death, people being kept at home rather than a funeral parlor when they passed away, and to be well dressed you had to wear a hat a gloves. Men wore felt hats. Favorite saying back then was "children should be seen and not heard". Wow. Times have changed.

I have a Prince Albert can. Remember the little cabinets that were called smoking stands. You kept your tobacco and pipes in them. Have you noticed the old movies. Everyone contantly smoked cigarettes. At least that's one improvment. Not many smoke today.

I remember putting a playing card on my bike tire to make noise. I remember saying thr Pledge of Alliegence every day at school and also the Lord's Prayer.I remember "children should be seen and not heard"
