Someone asked about how I quilted it. I quilted a big feather wreath in the areas that kind of look like circles, swirls in the other areas. To begin with I quilted straight lines that kind of went around the circles, but I took those out after I quilted the feathers and swirls because they didn't look right. Lots of ripping...

It really didn't take all that long to make this quilt. I cut 1.5" strips from most of my scrap pieces, and when the mood strikes I cut them into 1.5, 2.5, 3.5,... 9.5" pieces and separate by light and dark into cheap silverwear containers from Wal-Mart. Then I chain piece the blocks so I'm working with only one strip size at a time.

Thank you, Dunster! I was so ga-ga-eyed over the pictures you first posted that I never even got to page 4, but you can bet I've got it now!
