Trying to Print Label in Microsoft Word
#1
I have a picture of a label and text written within the picture but cannot figure out how to merge the two. I click preview and it shows it just the way I want it to print but then when I print only the picture of the label comes through without the text. Frustrating -- what am I missing? Have to stop for lunch before it's time for dinner!

The picture is probably over-riding the text and perhaps they would print separately....not good. You would do much better in PowerPoint. If you have Word software, you probably have PowerPoint too. PM me and I can give you specific details on how to proceed in making your label.

Another thought......if you can send the Word document to me, maybe I can help, but I don't know how to duplicate your issue without seeing it. Computers are wonderful but they're also a pain at times.

In Word, click Insert, then click Text Box. Position the box on top of your photo and write your label info. Then click Text Box Tools - Format and select Shape Fill. Select No Fill and the background of the box will turn transparent so your words will appear directly on the photo. You can then print as you usually do in Word. PM me if you need more details.

I agree with leggz48--try saving to PDF format (or printing to PDF, if your version can't save as PDF)--it often resolves bugs in Word and other word processing software's printing functions.
If you need help with the details of doing so, let me know.
