You could make the quilt pop by adding yellow or red. Is he intent that it be black and white only?

I had a friend that was making a quilt with black and white plus scraps. We both had seen the pattern and loved it. She started - I didn't. Well when she was about 3/4 of the way finished she started having the same problems. She as her husband to packed it ALL up (all left over fabric - which was YARDS) and she gave it to me!! Yee Pee I haven't finished the quilt yet because I am adding applique to it but every once in awhile I will ask her for input on the next step. She still gets a little dizzy just seeing alittle of it. I am adding more around the outside and try not to let her see the pieced part that she worked on!! Good luck, 4js

I don't have any advice.
I will not show these to my daughter,(who also quilts) because she would drag me along to buy every color of that design then show them to me and ask which pattern I prefer from various intricate ones. It would look beautiful, but I couldn't sew it. To each his own.

I see what you mean, but in the end they would make a great graphic style quilt. Maybe if you put on sunglasses that might help.

I feel your pain ~ but after they are cut, they won't be as overwhelmingly dizzying :)
