Now the cat is out of the bag, all this time they thought I went to the shop to work on blocks and ponder over my fabric selections.....now they know the bare naked truth, its the massage chair.....ooohhhhh, ahhhhhhhhh. hehehe

But now everyone will know why my hand applique is a bit shaky.....

Well, ladies, here's my (almost) finished Hourglass quilt! Everything but the binding... and because I broke my arm last week I doubt that the binding will get done before fall. How are YOUR quilts coming along?

mine is simply a work in progress. inspiration for completing it has given way to other projects. think I better get on the stick and get it done.

I started laying out blocks today while my embroidery machine was going.

Hey MFQS
Do you want to help me lay out the blocks? I will bring them in if you have the time. Which evening after work, will work for you this week? Maybe we can put the tables together downstairs and layout about 5 or 6 of them!

That works for me! I'm not sure about what day, though. I have real estate showings a couple of times this week and... Virginia and I were at the shop until 12:15 last night - sewing and talking. If we had realized 6:00 would turn into 12:00 so quickly we'd have called you to come over!

That would have worked out fine. 6 hours of placing blocks from all the swaps in some sort of order to finish these tops and get them to the long armer for the EMS donation.

Linda said she'd longarm all of the EMS donations for free.
