I have bookmarked this, and hopefully you can do a quick tute on the technique. I too, am a visual learner.

Would the crayons hold up to "many, many" washes?

I love your snowman quilt and the idea of painting them with crayons. When I look at it, I somehow imagine the multi colored checkerboard squares as Christmas lights. Great quilt!
