If you're looking for bobbins for your Kenmore 19233, you have some choices. I don't know about using bobbins not designated for your machine. However, you can get the proper bobbins at Sears. If you don't have a Sears Store handy, you can order them at Sears on line. Another option is eBay. There are a couple of sewing supply sites on eBay where you can pick up the proper bobbins for your machine. All you have to do is search for "bobbins for a Sears Kenmore 19233 sewing machine" and that should take you to the right site(s). I picked up a whole bunch of bobbins for my Brother machine (which cannot take generic bobbins either) on eBay for a great price. Just a thought.
Have a great time with your quilting, and don't forget to post a pretty picture of your latest project when you have one. We're all nosey about things like that (Not!) But we do like pretty pictures of projects to salivate over! And again, welcome aboard!
