This style quilt looks like one of the "treasures on the PBS antique road show" and how the quilt or "art" is worth priceless amounts if auctioned at Southerby's, etc.
Possibly you could contact one of the auction houses.
In Kentucky, several years ago, the Governor's wife, former US Beauty Queen, Phyllis George purchased quilts, wrote a quilt book and supported Kentucky Quilters. She might have contacts.
What about Paducah?
As was previously questioned, "what is your husband's background? art, quilting, sewing, - his mother, grandmother?
Beautiful style.
