I seem to lack focus when it comes to completing projects. I have about a dozen projects to finish and am sort of beating myself up about it.

I might get a simple baby quilt done in a weekend but nothing any more complicated for sure.

I have often wondered the same thing. They must get up at 4 am and work straight until 10 pm. No kids, no husband, no cooking, no cleaning. I am lucky to get an hour in before my husband finds something else for me to do.

I finished this block for our quilt group exchange for a quilt with a Western theme. No face as I didn't want to mess it up. Recipient can do that if she wishes.

The only time I can get something done in a weekend is when I go on a retreat. Nothing seems to be accomplished at home. There is laundry, grocery shopping, a book, the TV or the husband that gets in the way. LOL

I wish my body could keep up with my head! I want to do so many projects, but I can't seem to do more than just a few hours a week. It took me 3 yrs to finish my last project.

Well, it was much easier for me to crank quilts out before I found this forum, that's for sure! LOL

It also doesn't help that the former teeny baby is now a romping toddler, so instead of sitting in one place & sleeping most of the time, he's running all over & demanding mommy's attention.

Productivity? What's that??

Well, I didn't do any quilting this past weekend -- so there! My mood swings are notorious. I'll quilt almost non-stop for weeks on end and then "lose" interest for a couple of weeks, instead getting into other crafts or feeling the "need" to clean or read or . . . . So much to do, so little time! :)
