This is like asking who my favorite child is (if I had more than one). I have recently discovered Abraham Verghese, a medical doctor of Indian descent who grew up in Ethopia. He is lyrical. Jerry Spence, the famous trial lawyer, is my all-time love. Usually don't read fiction; for 25 years I read nothing but true crime and had amassed over 700 books in that genre. Actually, I'll read anything with print on it.
